SSI™ (Selectable Smart Impedance)
Most car audio system designs call for 2- or 4-ohm impedance. Club shallow-mount subwoofers feature an exclusive dual impedance switch that lets you choose either load impedance option depending on your particular system and amplifier choice. Not available from any other manufacturer, SSI allows you to reconfigure your system by simply flipping a switch.
Aluminum Woofer Cone
A proprietary aluminum woofer cone has been engineered to provide high output while maintaining its shape to full excursion, ensuring low distortion and minimal unwanted audible acoustical artifacts. The end result is deep, full bass performance that is both musical and impactful.
Vented Basket Design for System Cooling
The Club shallow-mount subwoofer’s vented basket keeps the voice coil cool even at high output levels, ensuring long-term reliability.
High-Roll Rubber Surrounds
Club shallow-mount subwoofers incorporate a high-roll surround that provides superior cone edge suspension while maximizing excursion. It not only increases the cone area but also provides remarkable linear stability and reliability.
Purposeful Design
JBL Club shallow-mount subwoofers feature a large inverted dust cap mated to a JBL orange cone with a subtle reveal for a pop of color. The slash pattern forms a JBL Horn prominently on the dust cap. The unique surround design allows the trim ring to press fit into it and conceal any fasteners, giving the subwoofers a sleek, clean appearance when installed.
